Our team are all skin cancer experts based in the local NHS hospitals, we are leading clinicians in the local skin cancer teams and surgical services.
At Southface Skin Clinic, the whole body is screened, by an expert Dermatologist or Skin Cancer Nurse. We examine for signs of sun damage, precancer and skin cancer.
We identify your risks and educate you to look after your skin and be aware of what signs to look out for in the future.
Treatment with cryotherapy is available for some benign lesions and if a mole or lesion does need to be removed that can be undertaken by our experienced dermatological surgeons.

Full body skin check
A full assessment of skin, moles, and sun damage. Our most popular service recommended annually.
We will assess your risk factors, examine you thoroughly and give you information about what signs to look out for.
For appropriate lesions, we may treat with cryotherapy for no extra charge within the appointment.


Full body skin check with a Skin Cancer Nurse and mole mapping
A full skin assessment a Skin Cancer Nurse. After nurse appointments, a report can be sent to your GP, if necessary and a referral to a dermatologist can be made for any suspicious lesions.
A typical appointment is up to 45 minutes.
The skin cancer nurse will examine all of your moles and skin lesions and assess you for atypical mole syndrome and advise you , if you have other high risk factors.
Full body skin check with a Dermatologist
A full check by a dermatologist using a Dermatoscope to analyse moles and check for skin cancers and sun damage.
A report can be sent to your GP and any requirements for mole removal can be discussed and arranged if necessary.
