Our team are all skin cancer experts based in the local NHS hospitals, we are leading clinicians in the local skin cancer teams and surgical services.
At Southface Skin Clinic, the whole body is screened, by an expert Dermatologist or Skin Cancer Nurse. We examine for signs of sun damage, precancer and skin cancer.
We identify your risks and educate you to look after your skin and be aware of what signs to look out for in the future.
Treatment with cryotherapy is available for some benign lesions and if a mole or lesion does need to be removed that can be undertaken by our experienced dermatological surgeons.

For people with lots of moles who would like assessment and monitoring. Mole mapping uses the latest technology to image and assess moles.

Your appointment options are as follows
Full body skin check - Skin Cancer Nurse
A full assessment of skin, moles, and sun damage. You will be examined top-to toe. Our most popular service is recommended annually.
We will assess your risk factors, examine you thoroughly and give you information about what signs to look out for.
This is a 40 minute skin cancer screening appointment, your moles and sun damage will be assessed and a report given. If further assessment is needed a single mole report can be issued by a Dermatologist.
If you know you have minor skin cancers or have had previous lesions and treatment, it is best to book with a Dermatologist who can then arrange treatment of any further skin cancers found.
Full body skin check - Dermatologist
A full assessment of skin, moles, and sun damage. Our experienced Dermatologists also all work in the NHS treating skin cancer.We will assess your risk factors, examine you thoroughly and give you information about what signs to look out for.
For appropriate lesions, we may treat with cryotherapy for no extra charge within the appointment.
If any treatment is needed, our Dermatologists can prescribe appropriately for precancerous lesions or arrange photodynamic therapy. If we find a skin cancer we can arrange removal of it for you either privately or on the NHS.(Please note the NHS waiting list still applies).
