Dr. Sarah Aulds
Menopause Doctor
Hello, I’m Dr Sarah Aulds, a doctor, mother and an advanced menopause specialist who wants all women to have the highest quality healthcare at every stage of life.
I worked as a GP training at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital and subsequently in Canada Water, where I set up a menopause clinic in the practice to address the clear unmet need for specialised menopause care.
Keen to build my knowledge and deliver better care, I decided to become dual trained in both General Practice and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I’m now registered with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health and the UK General Medical Council. My paper on the management of menopause in women with a history of breast cancer was recently published in the Post Reproductive Health Journal and The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Journal.
Over the recent years, I have worked as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Guy's and St Thomas Hospital, King’s College, and St Mary's Paddington, three of the largest NHS hospitals in London. I have also presented at The British Menopause Society Annual Meeting in 2023 and a Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Meeting in 2024.
I am currently involved in a large research trial of women with premature ovarian failure, assessing whether certain regimens are superior in terms of bone health.
As a mother of three, and a doctor who’s treated hundreds of postpartum and menopausal women, I understand that hormonal changes can have a huge and often overlooked impact on our lives. Whatever stage of life you’re at, I look forward to supporting you.
