The liquid facelift
The Liquid Facelift at Southface Skin Clinic is the use of fillers to recontour the face and restore the loss of facial volume and elasticity which contribute to the ageing face. The procedure can provide a gentle lift of individual or overall facial features and reduce wrinkles, creases, lines, and folds.
As we age, the face loses volume in certain areas as well as elastin, collagen and subcutaneous fat with the result being a flatter and sagged appearance. By restoring this lost volume, we can subtly rejuvenate the natural, curved contours of the face and produce a rested, energetic look.
In some patients, the goal is to lift the entire face. In others, the goal may be to contour or lift specific facial features.
A liquid facelift involves the use of advanced dermal fillers. Here at Southface Skin Clinic we offer face contouring with Restylane, Perlane, Juvéderm and Sculptra.
Sculptra works differently from traditional fillers. It is a unique collagen replenishing treatment that helps to gradually and subtly reduce lines, wrinkles, and folds.
